Since it was opened at Dosthill Medical Centre over ten years ago, BHA Podiatric Medicine Ltd has developed as one of the regions most comprehensive private providers of podiatric medicine and associated procedures. Podiatry treatments on offer range from a simple nail trim to some of the most modern musculoskeletal therapies currently available anywhere in the UK. For example; platelet rich plasma therapy which was hailed in a full page article in the Daily Express in October 2009 as a ‘revolutionary and new’ treatment for tendon damage had actually been available here at Dosthill for more than 2 years before that article!

 

Facial procedures may seem unusual in a podiatry practice but in fact suitably trained Podiatrists have the longest history of any health professional outside Doctors and Dentists of being able to independently use prescription-only injectable medicines such as local anaesthetics. It is now no more remarkable to have cosmesis performed in a suitable podiatry practice than it is to have it performed by a Nurse or Dentist and as our facility has been equipped to perform procedures up to and including minor day surgery, you can rely on the very highest standards of safety and modern hygienic healthcare.
